Visual Communications

This section holds visually communicative work ranging from demographically influenced to creatively expressed. Works for the St Andrews Heritage Museum and Garden are presented as well as recent pieces produced for my Master of Letters in Art Writing.

[synonym] sessions

[synonym] is a passion project derived from the collective I co-founded, Gallery Bagging. Through GalBag, [synonym] sessions was facilitated at, thus far, Glasgow located art territories invited aspiring writers to join in the activity of art responding. The digital works created are a reflection of these workshops.

Gallery Bagging

Gallery Bagging is composed of kitsch designs, focusing on the raw nature of 'taking a line for a walk' (Paul Klee). Exhibiting the motion of writing on-site, works becoming unintelligible breaking the boundaries of conservative meaning.

St Andrews Preservation Trust

Carrying on from the Events & Fundraiser Officer internship with the Trust, the Visual Communications role focuses on audience-facing graphics. Editing written and visual material for marketing purposes such as the annual Hidden Gardens booklet and Autumn Fair.
