About Me
Amanda-Jane Reynolds
Born in Falkirk, Scotland
Lives & works in Falkirk, UK

Now as a newly graduate I am keen to secure a full-time career role where my developed skills in graphic design and writing will be utilised.
My background is primarily in the arts specialising in art responding. The work I produce is both visual and verbal. The visual being traditional techniques combined with digital illustration which has been utilised for work and education. Verbal has been expanded through expansive reading and writing for my Master of Letters in Art Writing. The Masters concluded with two books as well as posters submitted earning a Distinction. The practical work can be found in [synonym] within Visual Communications.
My focus on visual and verbal media has been gathered from previous and current roles, the former being the charity organisation St Andrews Preservation Trust and the latter my co-founded collective Gallery Bagging. The Trust enrolled me as their Digital Illustrator producing illustrations for their Doocot events, the Autumn Fair and their annual Hidden Gardens event. Creating posters, signs, booklets, press releases, photographs and internally dispersed graphics have all been aspects of my role within StAPT.
Gallery Bagging's image is inspired by the demographic we wish to appeal to and has done so effectively gaining attention from the Pathfoot Collective on the University of Stirling grounds as well as the Edinburgh Printmakers for private viewings within the first week of GalBag's existence.

My writing can be found on Gallery Bagging, the Pathfoot Collective's blog, and in Artist's Responding To... magazine. Reporting on individual artists both national and international, I have progressed from absorbing information supplied by other writer's to now being confident in the things I have to and want to say.
